Durga Puja is the most celebrated event of the area and has been praised for the participation of the residents and such spontaneity and warmth have been the gelling effect for bringing together residents of all caste and creed and the same has also been acknowledged by different award juries. In 2022, besides 30+ top awards, the unique idol was selected for preservation in “Maa Phire Elo ” Museum in Rabindra Sarobor. Judged as best Idol by all key Puja parikrama and received awards like ABP Ananda, Utkarsha Bangla, Sera Sambhavna by Kolkatasree (KMC),   The committee is well known and appreciated for year long social activities which include helping destitute women, arranging blood donation camps, health camps, engagement with senior citizens and tree plantation among others.

• Showcased by administration: Golf green Sarodotsava Committee idol and presentation in Unesco march was highlighted in various prestigious presentations which include G-20 official video of Government of West Bengal, Kolkata Sree award in Town Hall.
• Highly appreciated Pandal: in form of an Art Installation by renowned artist, Swarup Nandi.
• Mega campaigns : Outdoor banners jointly with media sponsors erected at numerous locations throughout Kolkata, PR through social media platforms to popularize the puja.

Golf Green Sarodotsava Committee is actively participating in different social and cultural events. These include.

• ABP Ananda Parai Parai Serar Lorai – Participant since inception. Semifinalist on many occasions and winner in 2021.
• Football for Puja committees : Won the first prize in the football tournament arranged by FFD in association with IFA for Puja Committees in 2021 and quarterfinalist of 2022.
• Engagement with Forum for Durgotsav Committee – As an active member, Golf Green Sarodotsava Committee is one of the key participants in all programs of FFD which include annual Blood donation camps, artist workshops, cultural programs, to name a few.
• Media & brand promoted festivals – The puja committee is a favorite destination for every media house and brands for activation related programs. These include Mirchi Khushir Pujo, Zee Bangla, ITC, Emami and Coca Cola.
